In the modern Japanese principles of wabi-sabi, wabi connotes to rustic simplicity and freshness. It correlates to the act of finding beauty in objects or places that was once "rough around the edges". With this in mind, we wanted to craft a piece that takes beauty from other things, such as scrap fabric from different styles. Thus, we made do of our leftovers instead of leaving it to the landfills and created the Wabi Cami. It has a simple boxy silhouette, held up by hand-crocheted straps made from deadstock yarns.
